All of our programs take place on the traditional, ancestral, unceded territory of the Musqueam people.
Location
The Bike Kitchen has moved! Check out our new space at 1896 East Mall (The ATCO trailer outside of East Mall).
Safer Space Policy
>> Always ask what pronouns someone uses instead of making an assumption about their gender identity based on their appearance. You can simply ask "What pronouns do you use?" when you meet someone new.
>> Discrimination will not be tolerated, particularly but not exclusively regarding: race/ethnicity, cultural background, sexual orientation, gender presentation, gender identity, age, (dis)ability, economic/social class, physical appearance, body size, religion or asylum status.
>> We do not tolerate harassment, including: offensive verbal comments, sexual images in public spaces, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, inappropriate physical contact, unwelcome sexual attention and inappropriate language or behavior.
>> Participants should not discriminate against an individual based on the type, brand, physical appearance, or state of repair of an individual's bicycle.
